brotherly love

as i expand upon my blog i find that it is very easy to write about the things close to me. this is dedicated to my brother (justin sok) who doesn't have the smartest sound-bytes i've ever heard. here are the ones that really hit close to home. enjoy.

-"I overdrew!" this was justin's reaction to me downloading 7 songs off of Napster on his account(99 cents a song). with bryce and taylor as my witness he yelled "i overdrew" with a wimpish yet loud tone. he first asked, "did you download any songs off napster?". I said, "yeah only a few." there was a slight pause then came, "I Overdrew!"

-"I didn't think it would be hot!" this came after justin dropped a bowl of soup/chili. it shattered the bowl and spilled everywhere. The funny part is he had put the bowl in the microwave for 3 minutes. what's not gonna be hot after 3 minutes in a microwave.

-"if i had 3 more inches i'd be unstoppable." this came while talking with some friends at church about basketball. he was under the impression that if he was 3 inches taller he would be the ultimate basketball player. while he is decent at basketball 3 inches would still leave him in the stoppable column.

-"It is a recent developement that I will not have the money to go." this is a line out his post about the Desiring God Conference, and is only comical because only weeks ago he commented on dave's blog, "i have money, i have more money than alot of people." enough said.


This has just been a time of reflection for my peers and i on his classic yet thoughtless comments. this however is not in anyway a direct insult to my brother, he's a baller and i would do anything for him. so in the future listen closely to his words, cause you're bound to catch a laugh.
