anything but band wagon
to start i would like to address 2 things:
1. I am still a faithful kansas state wildcat fan. we have a new coach and a freshman quarterback that's led us to a 4-2 record.
2. I am not jumpin on the bandwagon because thier number 1 in the country.
I say that, to say this... I am a supporter of Ohio State Buckeye football. notice i say supporter meaning this, in any game they play unless it is kansas state i will cheer for them. my reason is 2 fold, they are amazing to watch offensively. they have amazing athletes that make amazing plays and it's quite entertaining.
but the most important reason is this. The football team is hosting an outreach program called, "The Main Event". 5 Ohio state players will be speaking as well as a gosple presentation from head coach Jim Tressel. to me this is amazing. for the #1 team in the country to take the time to reach out to the OSU campus.
I understand that this will put a big dent in my relationship with my father and brother, but it's something i have to support.
also me and other cedarville students will be serving as a counselor.
GO BUCKEYES!

lol, Sok, It is good to see you postin'. I loved this post because you had some pretty good reasons... (There are alot of Christians on the UK squad too ya know) -- You gonna cheer for the Cats?
its alright to jump on a bandwagon, everybody does it at some point. right?
no taylor i won't cheer for the cats cause they don't have a huge outreach event.
secondly i'm not bandwagon, just like the way they do things. I still bleed purple.
Larry Coker is an amazing christian man...so is bobby bowden...tommy bowden...Mark Richt. Why not Georgia, brandon? Richt's church in georgia put out that new football movie that will touch more lives than Tressel's rhetoric. Oh...that's right...they're not number one this year.
Weather update: The weather today seems to be a little FAIR...don't you think.
