Basking in the Suns

For many years I was merely a "playoff" spectator. Today I announce that I am now a follower of the NBA. More specificly the Phoenix Suns. I have never had a favorite NBA team because of ignorance and I was always busy. Now with my free time in college I can watch the Sun's, enjoy the game, and still learn basketball. One of the main reasons for my "signing" with the Sun's is their style of offense. They play very free lance, with alot of pick and rolls. This in turn sets up the 3 point shooters on the perimeter. It's an art. Secondly I have began a book titled, "7 seconds or less." it gives a behind the scences look at the Sun's for an entire season. It's comical, insightful, and a great read.
So for future gift purchases please note that Phoenix Sun's merchandise will now be accepted. keep it real.

i thought the same...

My first NBA experience cam just a few years back. I went to Indianapolis to watch the Pacers play the Raptors. It was pretty tight. This of course was before the huge brawl the pacer players got into shortly after I witnessed the game.
(As a result of the trip, my favorite player is definitely Vince Carter... But as for a favorite team? Well-- I can usually decide on the spot who I want to win a particular game. But No team is ever my absolute favorite.

I am kind of disapointed you are jumping on the Suns bandwagon. I love to watch their offense but they wont make it past the conference finals. I think its interesting that a lot of NBA teams are now trying to model the Suns style but fail. There is only one Steve Nash and he really makes that system go. they need to learn how to play some D though and add a deeper bench.
Liz and I are diehard Pistons fans. Last year we got to catch the Pitons in Indy against the Pacers. It was just my luck that with their record as good as it was they dropped a game I got to go to. We made it back to the hotel to catch the second half of UK/florida and UK lost too. It was a crappy night.
