Why do we plan street evangelism, but walk the same streets in silence everyday?
How come Christians turn evangelism into an event instead of a lifestyle?

recently i've been rolling these questions through my head and i can't figure out a way to get them out other than this... a free-write. after this sentence i'm going to turn the monitor off and just type what i feel, please excuse any errors, i'll go back and change only major ones.

Friday nights in cedarvile ohio have become outreach night for my friends and i. we have gone out to different socal locations i.e barnes and noble and looked for oppurtunities to evangelize. this is great but my problem is the planning of this "event". why has it been reduce to an event and not a lifestyle. we go into stores and movies nad bars (jk) and socialize about nonsense most of the time, if we eeven socialize at all. why on't we share the hoppe within. why don't we save people from HELL!!!!!!! that was anger!!!! and personal frustration. sharing the gospel should be an outflow of our lives . it should come out like vomit after you drink that stuff that makes you throw up immedaiately. carrying this strange thought out we should "vomit" on everyone we come iin contact eith. but i digress. the challenge is to make evangellsim a lifestyle. so many people have all the doctrinal nad theologicaal knowledge but don't apply it to everyday life. share the gosple, apply what you know about christ. no excuses play like a champion!!!!!!!!!

that my friends is a free- write. no preconcieved planning or organizing. just what's on my mind.

i agree with that wholeheartedly.

evangelism is a lifestyle, but i do not think that we should be walking around trying to talk about Jesus is every circumstance we come across.

the answer is being plugged in to the Holy Spirit of God and His leading. The Holy Spirit, if we are in fellowship with Him, will always tell us, and tell us clearly, when we need to talk, when we need to be bold, when we need to step up. When we live in sin and disconnect ourselves from the Spirit, then we are left with our own convictions to guide us. Our heart can sometimes be our biggest enemy, either not convicting us enough or convicting us to unrealistic standards.

The answer is to stop sinning and start obeying, in every area of life, no matter how small, and we will always be in the middle of God's will with everything. He tells us to preach, so we will preach. He tells us to share, and we will share.

The one thing so many Christians make the mistake of doing is thinking they can live out the demands of Christ without surrendering their will in every aspect of life. If our will is not resolved in even one area of life, it is not resolved at all.

i agree.

one of the problems with a freewrite is that you can't always construct everything. I didn't necessarily mean share the gospel with everyone we meet but the vomit illustration is referencing how christ should be an overflow of our lives. i think theres a verse about that. sorry if this was confusing.

thanks for the insight and comment. love you bro.

this would be an appropriate summation as well:
